Description
1979 PONITAC TRANS AM 10TH ANNIVERSARY EDTION It’s an original paint, 99k original mile car 10th anniversary edition car. It’s spectacular. The car is a factory Air Conditioning optioned car, and it blows ice cold.
The car has mirror glass T-Tops which really makes it fun to drive on a nice day. The car has Led upgraded headlights and Led side maker up grades. The interior is extremely nice and original. No rips, sun damage or cracks in the dash.
The 10th anniversary has special silver bucket seats!!! This Trans Am has power windows that work very well, and cruise control. At night the gauges all light up in red……which is part of the anniversary edition and looks awesome. Gauges all work! Clock is out.
The body is very very nice……no cuts or patches, or rust bubbles, and no big dents or drags. The car still sits on its original wheels. The engine had some old age leaks and was under powered, so the past owner had a mid cam installed and headers and resealed the block.
The car has good power and sounds really really good. But……not too loud. Original owners manual in glove box too. This is a very nice car. Its starts very fast and runs and drives great!!! 401 V8 automatic transmission.

Classic Pontiac Firebird Buyer's Guide
The Pontiac Firebird launched in February 1967 as Pontiac's F-body sister to the Chevrolet Camaro, and across thirty-five years of production it built one of the most loyal enthusiast followings in American automotive history. From the 1969 Trans Am (the launch of the iconic performance trim that would define Pontiac for decades) through the 1973-1974 SD-455 cars (the last truly raw muscle Pontiacs before federal emissions de-tuning), the 1977 Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am that kicked off second-generation pop-culture immortality, and the 1980s third-generation IROC-era cars, every Firebird era has its own buyer profile and its own pitfalls. This guide covers what every buyer should verify before paying premium money for any Firebird Trans Am or Formula variant.
