1966 GTO Pontiac Lemans Tempest Convertible, Driven everyday. Comes with an originally installed 'SPRINT 6'option with only 1100 produced making this a rare and desirable addition to this already popular convertible edition! No rust body from Florida, 15'Rally II Wheels This car was just driven here with the top down to our 'Mancelona Park' all the way from Chicago on a hot summer day on July 10th 2016 with no issues whatsoever. Dubbed the Sprint 6, in 1966, John DeLorean special ordered a limited small number of these high performance versions of the OHC-6 to be installed in just a few 1966 and 1967 Pontiac Lemans Tempest Cars. This hopped up OHC-6 featured the new Rochester Quadra jet 4-barrel carb a high flow intake manifold, higher lift camshaft, and 10.5 to 1 compression ratio requiring premium fuel. 'Power increased from 165 hp (OHC-6) to 207 hp (Sprint 6), a sizeable 25% increase and making this one of the fastest 6 cylinder engines and cars ever made.'
