1967 Pontiac GTO

1967 Pontiac GTO with 400 ci engine, 4 bbl 700 series carburetor with turbo 400 transmission with “his and hers” shifter. Pontiac was the originator of the “his and hers” shifter which allows automatic shift for her and slide the gate open for manual shift for him. Transmission was rebuilt with all brass, not plastic, parts and has maybe 100 miles on the rebuild. Engine was rebuilt and has maybe 100 miles on it.  This car was a high option car with AC, rear window defrost, and “his and hers” shifter. The car was painted about 20 years ago and has been garage kept but is showing age and a great driver but not show quality. The interior needs replacing for a show car but great for a driver. The old heater core leaked, rusting the passenger front floor pan and needs replacing. The current owner replaced the heater core but never got to the floor pan because of too many other car projects. The owner has several parts he purchased over the years that will go with the car. He has new chrome front and rear bumpers, front turn signal lens, front headlight bezels, new wood grain inserts for the console and the instrument cluster/dash,etc. The tires and rims are new. He was going to fully restore this car but too many other cars got in the way. He\'s selling this car because of too many other projects.
