1974 Porsche 914

1974 PORSCHE 914 2.0 purchased In 2019. This Porsche was previously owned by a Volkswagen aficionado who had purchased it as a restoration project. During his ownership he had replaced the heads, removed the heater box and replaced the exhaust manifolds. During my ownership the oil and oil filter were changed, new Vredestein Sportac 195/65 R15 mounted and balanced, new wheel studs and lug nuts were installed, the master brake cylinder was rebuilt, the front brake calipers were rebuilt, the rear calipers were replaced with remanufactured calipers (the parking brake set screws are fully functional), new brake pads were installed and the brake system was flushed with appropriate brake fluid. The transmission shift rod/linkage was removed, cleaned, lubricated and new bushings were installed. A new clutch cable was installed with heat shields. The transmission and transaxle was drained and flushed with new gear oil installed. Replacement Panasonic coaxial speakers were installed in the kick panels. Also included is the original exhaust system with heater box and the original heads.
