1984 PORSCHE 930. In the automotive industry, the 1980s were known as the era of the gray market cars and our 1984 930 is a byproduct of that time. This 1984 Porsche 930 was delivered originally in Germany since the European models between 1980 and 1985 were not brought to the States.The cars in this era were put through the wringer by the EPA and DOT with extensive tests that caused a majority of the cars to lose their books and records–hence the grayness–except for our 1984 Porsche 930. Our black on black 930 comes with all of its original books and records, all the way down to the triangle roadside emergency reflector and its factory first aid kit. It is equipped with all of its original parts, and it even comes with intake grates on the quarter panels–the origin of which we are still investigating in terms of whether it was being tested by Porsche in Europe, it was an aftermarket add, or it was a post-production addition to the car.
