1972 Volkswagen Beetle BAJA S.E. / Marathon Bug 1 of 1000 made for US to commemorate VW's off road racing success from 1967-71 and for surpassing the Ford Model T as the all time model sales leader. Very rare due to low production and high attrition. A must have for the serious VW Collector. Mechanicals and cosmetics are Excellent. NO EVIDENCE OF PREVIOUS RUST OR COLLISION. Finished in L96M metallic blue, Lemmerz wheels specific made for this model etc. (google for extra original equipment extras for this S.E. model). I added period correct coco mats and a roof rack. Fresh major tune / service . New battery, tires and exhaust. All new body & window seals.
