1977 Volkswagen Beetle

1977 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible. LIMITED EDITION CONVERTIBLE known as 'CHAMPAGNE EDITION'........According to research only 2500 of these models were imported into the USA this year, with 1978 being the last year made. Not many remain like this. Very hard to find in any condition let alone in this excellent condition. Runs great. Driven only in nice weather (except an occasional surprise shower). Clean topside and undercarriage. Top has slight tear (patched) but never was a concern since it was a 'TOP DOWN' car when driven. Upholstery in excellent shape and original. Tires in good condition (may replace right front). Starts good, shifts great, runs excellent. Fenders repainted at on time it appears but body (doors, hood, trunk) original and nice. Bumpers, wheels, etc. also in superb shape. Just over 58,000 miles which are original and the undercarriage (little or no rust) also confirms this.
