1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle

1971 Super Beetle. This VW starts and runs very well. I bought from an owner in Florida a few years ago for my wife who has now passed and I really have no need for it…. I am not sure of past ownership. It has minimal modifications including a new color paint which was originally yellow. The paint job was extensive covering most all of the original color. The body has some rust spots under paint which you can see in the pictures. Under the passenger side rear floor pan there is a small area of rust as well. The front bumper has a bend also seen in pictures. Since I have had the car I have had several things done including : Engine - replace/new heat riser, vacuum advance distributor, plugs, wires, coil, rotor, all hoses, fuel filter, belt, fuel gage sensor, fuel tank hoses, accelerator cable, rear main engine seal, fuel pump, replace engine compartment sound barrier Brakes - Replace rear wheel cylinders, rear brake hoses, left rear axle stub replaced Suspension - Replace struts, right and left tie rod assembly, boots/clamps Also comes with original jack, spare tire with full tread, wheel nut wrench, convertible top cover, spare parts, a couple repair manuals, mechanic receipts since I have had the car The radio is not original and works. Rear speakers were installed but I took them them out because they were not really mounted well by the previous owner. This car really does run well and a lot of fun to drive…. It turns eyes for sure …. The pictures tell it all. Clean title.
