1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle. Have owned this car for a little over 17 years. The car does run in fact it has a brand new motor, built with German parts. Also this car is a little far from stock, and has been upgraded as well as other stuff to help compete in today's traffic, see list below. - Brand new engine 1600cc built with German parts (less than 200 miles on it.) - Front & Rear wheel disc brake conversation kit (new was $1500) - 2 barrel Weber 40 IDF carburetor ($500 new) - New Battery - New gas Tank - Fairly New interior - New instrument cluster (actual mileage on car is unknown.) - New Driver and Passenger aftermarket seats (Modern seat that close to original) - Rebuilt transmission ($800) - Electric Fuel pump with inertia shut off switch - Front end & suspension has been rebuild with Polyurethane bushing - Rebuilt Steering gearbox - New Dash Top - 75 amp alternator - Mallory electronic Ignition system - Glass Pack Exhaust - Clean Title Mechanically the car is in good shape, even the interior looks good. Now there are some downsides about this car, it will need some paint and body work, nothing major though. Just the normal dings, dent and chips in the car for its age. The battery pan has already been replaced. The car will come with another deck lid, back and both side glass, and the Weber carburetor Jets (FYI each box is $70).
