1965 VOLKSWAGEN BUS/VANAGON DELUXE 21 WINDOW The Volkswagen Type 2, known officially (depending on body type) as the Transporter, Kombi or Microbus, or, informally, as the Bus (US) or Camper (UK), is a forward control panel van introduced in 1950 by the German automaker Volkswagen as its second car model. Following – and initially deriving from Volkswagen\'s first model, the Type 1 (Beetle) – it was given the factory designation Type 2. Mechanical Up for sale is a real German 21 window bus in great daily driver condition. This bus has been restored years ago and still looks beautiful. The engine runs very strong and the transmission shifts great through all gears. All tires are like new. The bus has around 1,000 miles after restoration and has been well maintained. This bus runs, drives and stops great and can drive anywhere. Exterior The exterior is very solid and straight. The paint looks really nice just some minor scratches if you look very closely. All glass is great. All the exterior lights and wipers work. Also has the roof rack that looks great on the bus. The undercarriage is solid and dry. This is a beautiful bus to go to shows or cruise around town. This bus gets lots of thumbs ups everywhere you go. Interior The interior is complete and in great condition.
