1965 AMC Rambler

1965 Rambler Marlin Production run only 10,327 units The last of the Rambler breed & first year introduction of the Marlin. This Marlin came from Arizona and has been garaged since 2012. Since that time I have only put on about 15,000 miles. I have receipts from the previous owner going back 2001. The following was done. Rebuilt transmission with shift kit, head gaskets, valve job, timing chain, water pump, rebuilt radiator, new rear drums & shoes & disc up front. New ball joints, tie rod ends and rear shocks, front & rear springs, stainless steel dual exhausts with nice mellow sound, AM/FM CD player, front & rear bumpers rechromed, new wiper motor and Cragar S/S Wheels. The car has a nice stance with 275/60/15 rear and 235/60/15 BF Goodrich tires. The car starts, runs & drives excellent. Everything works on the car with the exception of the interior lights and clock. Clock will work if sprayed with WD-40 and sit for a few days. I did that back in \'15 and lasted \'till \'20 As the car was originally sold in Arizona, the original owner did not order a heater as it was an option. With full price I will have an aftermarket heater installed including parts & labor. Though never needed for me. The paint was done 10 years ago and shines well. Looking close you will see some chips that were touched up by me. Mia culpa...LOL The floorboards, trunk, rear quarters and frame are solid. The interior was redone with new seat fabric, carpet, headliner & dash pad when painted. We chose a 60\'s era fabric which is a love/hate relationship with some...but I love it! Nice classic for an affordable price. 1/3 the price of a Chevelle and 3 times more fun!
