1965 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8 Mk III is finished in black and red over a black 2+2 interior and is powered by a 2.9-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Equipment includes a Texas Cooler mechanical fan, a ceramic-coated header, a black Robbins soft top, Minator 15″ knock-off wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, a Moto-Lita steering wheel, a Vintage Air air conditioning system, and a CD stereo. The car was refreshed in the early 2000s and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2022.

This BJ8 Mk III is offered with a parts and service list, a leather cabin cover, and a clean Indiana title. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench that have been reupholstered in black leather with red piping. Walnut veneer accents the dashboard, and lap belts are fitted for each occupant.

Additional amenities include a Vintage Air A/C system, a CD stereo, a clock, and aluminum pedal covers. Rearview mirrors are mounted on the dashboard and windshield. A tear on the center armrest upholstery is visible in the gallery below, along with exposed wiring in the passenger footwell.

The Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline along with auxiliary gauges displaying fuel level, oil pressure, and water temperature. The replacement 2.9-liter inline-six was rebuilt and installed in 2004. The engine is equipped with dual SU carburetors with mesh air cleaners.

Modifications include the following components: Ceramic coated header Dual inline fuel pumps Pertronix electronic ignition Texas Cooler mechanical fan Spin-on oil filter adapter Alternator Gear-reduction starter. the four-speed manual transmission, overdrive unit, and clutch were rebuilt in 2011.
