The world's premier gathering of Italian automobiles
Concorso Italiano is the world's largest and most prestigious gathering dedicated exclusively to Italian automobiles — held every August during Monterey Car Week, the same week as the Pebble Beach Concours. On the fairways of the Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside, California, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Lancia, Fiat, and De Tomaso compete for elegance and originality. If Pebble Beach is the global concours, Concorso Italiano is its Italian counterpart — with the added atmosphere of Italian fashion, food, and music alongside the cars.

Concorso Italiano is held during the same week as Pebble Beach, drawing collectors who fly in for both events. Many of the Italian cars at Concorso are the same marques competing at Pebble Beach — owners simply drive between events.
Ferrari sends official factory representatives to Concorso Italiano each year — and has occasionally unveiled new models at the event to the American collector market for the first time.
Concorso has a fashion component alongside the cars — judges award prizes for period-accurate Italian driving attire. A 1960s Alfa Romeo driver in a correct Mille Miglia racing outfit is competing in two categories simultaneously.
History
Concorso Italiano was founded in 1985, initially as a small gathering of Ferrari and Alfa Romeo owners during Monterey Car Week. As Italian car culture in America deepened through the 1990s and 2000s, the event expanded to encompass all Italian marques and grew into the standard it holds today: the definitive show for Italian automotive culture in America.
