Cruisin' the Coast is America's largest cruise-in event — a weeklong celebration of classic American cars spread across more than 40 miles of Mississippi Gulf Coast highway. Every October, over 8,000 registered vehicles cruise US-90 from Bay St. Louis to Pascagoula, stopping at shows, concerts, and gatherings in every Gulf Coast city along the way. It's less a traditional car show and more a rolling festival — the cars are the attraction, the highway is the venue.
The event draws participants from across the Southeast and beyond, with a particular concentration of 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s American iron. Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast in 2005, and the resilience of Cruisin' the Coast — which returned in 2006 as part of the region's recovery — became a point of local pride. The event has continued growing ever since.
