He purchased from the original owner in Charlotte, NC. The car had been already repainted when current owner purchased it. This is a list of some of what current owner has done to the car: · Removed emission items and replaced the factory carburetor with a Holly 650cfm Street Avenger and aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold. · Hoyt’s Muffler Shop in Conway, SC replaced the entire exhaust system with a custom dual exhaust from the manifolds back. · New breather, plug wires and valve covers. · New oil pan. · New alternator. · Brake job in March of 2018. · Replaced the factory radiator. · Installed air shocks. · New a/c compressor New 15” US Steel custom wheels and BFG tires. · Replaced door hinges and weather stripping. · Replaced the stock hood with a period correct cowl hood. · Speckle painted the inside of the trunk and replaced the weather stripping. · Installed new window motors. · Installed new door panels, carpet, steering wheel and recovered the seats. · Replaced the original seatbelts with new retractable belts for additional safety. · Installed a glove box mounted Bluetooth stereo system and front and rear speakers. This is a great driving reliable vintage car. It can be driven every day or just on the weekends.
