Listing Description

In 1979, there were 84,877 Camaro Z28's built. There were only 19,101 Rally Sports built that same year and it was the first year the Rally Sport was offered as a completely separate model. The only difference between the Z28s and the Rally Sports was five horsepower, one inch wheel diameter, and the awesome two-tone paint scheme. A tri-color decal separated the upper color from the body color. This example was the recipient of a recent paint job, staying true to the original color combination. White lower (code 11L) and Black upper (code 19U). Everything else is stock. The original 350ci/170hp V8 fires on command and the car runs/drives exceptionally well. The 72k mileage on the clock is original. Noteworthy features include the two-tone paint, original plaid cloth seats (code 19B), sport mirrors (D35), rear spoiler (D80), and 14-inch Rally Wheels (ZJ7). In a world full of Z's, choose to Rally. There aren't many of these cars out there, especially in this condition. An awesome survivor at a very reasonable price.
