1980 Chevrolet Camaro This car was a Budget Rent A Car in 1980. Current owners father bought this car when it was 3 months old with 3000 miles on it. It was a V6 car when new. Current owner recieved it in 1986. In 1987, stored the car in a garage until 1995. Over the years, accumulated all the parts needed to restore the car. Invested $28,000 in 1995, plus what was added over the recent years. In 1995 the car was completly stripped down, painted and a new drive train was installed, which includes new fenders, hood, ZZ3 350 crate motor with the chevy hot roller cam set up, Edelbrock Victor ram tunnel ram, TCI turbo 350 trans. Motor and trans have about 6000 miles. The rear has just been rebuilt with new 411 gears, new posi unit, new axles, seals and bearings. Rear leaf springs are new. The interior is new. The front end is new with tubular upper control arms. Tires are new with M/T street slicks on rear. This car was never raced. This car is well maintained and stored away every winter. Put about 60 miles a year on this car. Except for a few stress cracks in front valance, the paint is still like new.
