The Young Man That Ordered This Car Did Lots Of Research Before Heading To The Dealer With His Parents George And Agnes Lally. The Wish List On The Factory Order Included The Following: 327 Cubic Inch 350 Horsepower Engine L794 Speed Floor Shifter Transmission M20Tinted Glass Power Windows (Very Rare)Metallic Brakes (Very Rare)Rear Antenna Rear Window DefrosterPadded Instrument PanelPush Button Am Radio (Now Has Am Fm Push Button Radio) Period Correct. Special Very Desirable Suspension F40Posi Track Rear Axle 3:31 RatioTuxedo Black Paint AABucket Seat Black Interior With ConsoleSuper Lift Air Adjustable Shocks (Very Rare) G66 The Current Owner Added Power Steering, The Original Manual Steering Box Is Available To The New Owner. The Original Owner Took Delivery Of The Malibu July 19th Of 1965The Car Was Driven And Enjoyed From 1965 To 1973 The Car Was Driven About 8,500 Miles A Year.The Car Was Then Put In Storage In A Dry Garage From 1973 To Around 2007, That's About 34 Years. The Current Owner Purchased The Car Around 2007 And Has Owned Since Then.The Car Underwent A Partial Body Off Restoration To Make The Car Fresh Again. The Restoration Was Performed By Troy Thorton Of Thorton Reproductions Quaker Town Pa.At The Restoration Shop The Body Was Stripped Of Its Original Paint. The Body Had No Signs Of Rush Or Collision Anywhere, It Has An Amazing Body Thanks To The Original Owner.The Body Was Them Lifted Off The Frame And The Frame Underwent A Full Detailed Restoration. The Engine Was Rebuilt By Merkel Racing Engines Of Hauppauge Ny. The Car Has Been Driven Less Than 1,000 Miles Since Restoration.
