1967 Chevrolet Chevelle

1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible. The couple who\'d owned it had kept this car for nearly forty years. Several years ago they decided to get it back on the road and purchased a 350 crate engine for it, got it set in, and that\'s about as far as they got. The engine has maybe ten miles on it at this point. When we obtained the car, we took it directly to our mechanic who specializes in restoring collector cars and had everything sorted (over 3k spent). The entire brake system is new, new master cylinder, new brake cylinders, new lines. The same was done to the fuel system, new gas tank, new fuel pump, new sending unit, new lines. We then had a complete tune up done, new plugs, new wires, new water pump, new radiator, rebuilt carburetor, valves reseated, all new fluids. On the exterior, we installed new wheel house moldings as well as new bezels, tail lights, and a new piece of rear panel molding. Overall the Chevelle is fairly solid. It will need work in the quarters, floors, and one small spot within the Trunk. The rest of the car is very solid. Originally this car was red on red. At some point, the car went through a repaint. The interior of the car is in tact and complete. It does need some attention in areas. It does also present some interesting signs as to how well cared for this car was. The dash for example, it does have some minor cracking within the corners but overall when compared to other original second gen dashes, it is in fairly good shape. This Chevelle is a driver now.
