Description
1982 Chevrolet Pickup owned this truck for appx 5 years or more and it has been a good truck for me. I bought it from a older man who still had a camper on it and hub caps and the odometer shows 82,366. He had the motor completely rebuilt, and put a R V cam in it 1 step up from factory, and told me it ha appx 40 thousand miles on it and I put appx 10,000 on it since I've owned it.
When I got it I pretty much went thru it from front to back and underneath and replaced everything to make it dependable for my shop truck. The motor is a 305 or 350 that runs great. I replaced the water pump, thermostat, fuel pump, 2 brand new gas tanks, tune up, battery lately, new distributor appx a year ago, all new hoses, belts, valve cover gaskets lately, new dual exhaust with turbo mufflers out the side of the rear that sounds good.
I just put a Brand New Air Conditioning System that blows ice cold with a new blower motor and relays. The heater works fine, I also just replaced the power steering pump and high pressure line. The transmission is a 700R4 OVER DRIVE automatic that I changed the fluid and filter in when I got it going appx 10,000 miles ago.
I went thru the brakes and bought Brand new calipers, pads, rotors, shoes, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, master cylinder, and I bought all new wheel bearings, seals and etc. Also has new shocks all the way around. I added a set of 15' factory Rally wheels and painted them but I the caps and beauty rings I bought new.
The tires are Yokohama's and they don't have many miles on them at all. I replaced the wind shield and rubber gasket and all the glass is good except passenger window has scratches from his dog riding with him. Truck still has original paint and a good body for being 39 years old and would look good if you just cleared over the original patina but I liked it the way it is.
Just added new chrome body molding all the way around. The body is straight other then some dings and the lower cab corner on the passenger side.

Classic Chevrolet C/K Series Buyer's Guide (1960β1987)
When Chevrolet reorganized its truck lineup in 1960, the letters C and K became the foundation of an American institution. C for conventional two-wheel drive, K for four-wheel drive β simple, clear, and enduring. For twenty-seven years, the C/K series covered everything from half-ton haulers to one-ton workhorses across three distinct styling generations. If you're looking at a Chevrolet truck from this era and it isn't specifically labeled C10 or K10 in the listing, the buying principles here apply across the whole family.
