For 1914, the Model T benefited from styling changes initiated the previous year and weighing less than a thousand pounds, would set the design trend for over a decade. While this was one of the final years for the attractive brass trim, the standard L-head, four-cylinder engine remained, producing upwards of 20 horsepower.
This Model T Speedster was treated to a complete $40,000 frame-off restoration by Ralf Hermann of Essex CT. The car was acquired in 2008 from a gentleman who years ago converted to a farm vehicle but originally started life as a Model T of unknown body type. The restoration work begun in early 2009 and lasted until the end of 2009 by Ralf Hermann, Brassworks by Flowkooler and Snyders brass and wood steering. All of the restoration on this Model T Speedster work was done in-house and the car remains in excellent overall cosmetic and mechanical condition. Although it has been driven very little since being finished, it runs and drives superbly. All detailed documentations of receipts with pictures of the restoration process come with the car to show the quality and workmanship of this truly historical car.
Rare and stunning, this Speedster will speed into your heart once you see it in person and if you miss it, it will speed right passed you.
