1930 Ford Model A TudorVin (Engine) Number: A2744313Manufactured January 1930I Have Only Owned The Car For About A Year And I Believe That I Have Completed All Of The "Tinkering" On It That Was Needed. Selling It Now Because I Have Gotten It In Great Appearing And Running Condition. I Do Not Have A List Of The Previous Owners Work On The Car, But Was Extremely Pleased By The Obvious Pampering That The Car Has Been Given Over It Almost 90 Years Of Existence. With The New High Compression Head I Find That The "sweet Spot" For Engine Adjustments Is: Gav About 1/2 Turn Open, Throttle Lever Full Up (Idle) And The Spark Lever At About The 9:30 Position, Which Is A Little Above Horizontal. I Usually Cruise At 40-50 Mph And Slow Down To 35-40 If The "Motometer" Rises Above Half Way.All Steel, No Bondo. No Dents, Major Chips Or Scratches. Beautiful Paint, Dark Blue, I Believe Andalusite Blue Body, Black Fenders And Running Boards.Top In Excellent Shape With No Cracking, Rips, Or Tears.Dual Side Mirrors. All Glass In Great Shape, No Chips.Windows Roll Up And Down Easily.Tilt Out Windshield. Front Flag Holders With FlagsAhoogah Horn. 5 Commander 475/500x19 Whiteside Wall Tires. (3.25 Inch White Side Wall).Rear Mounted Spare With Tire Cover. All Tires Are In Great Shape, No Signs Of Dry Rot Or Cracking. About 80+% Remaining.Spoked Wheels (5) Are All The Same Blue Color As The Cars Body.Headlights Have Been Converted To 6 Volt Sealed Beam. Cowl Lights Are Now Turn Signals With The Switch Placed Out Of Sight Under The Top Dash Rail To The Left Of The Steering Column.Additional Right Tail Light (Both With Turn Signals) As Well As A Third Led BrakeLight Located In The Rear Window For Safety.I Was Told That The Seats And Side Panels Were Redone In The 80's. It Still Has The Original Headliner With Only One Small Hole. Seat Covers Are In Good Shape, However The Front Seats Have Some Tears In The Lower Skirt Areas.Extended Seat Brackets On Both Seats Providing An Extra 2" Of Leg Room. Driver Seat Brackets Re-located An Additional 2" Back For My 6'4" Long Legs. Still Allows Plenty Of Leg Room For Rear Seat Passengers.Good Rubber Floor Mats Front And Rear As Well As Shift And Parking Brake Boots.Additional Engine Temp Gauge As Well As Exterior Motometer.New Fuel Shut-off Valve And Gas Gauge Neoprene Float.Re-built Speedometer From Bert's Model A Parts In January 2019. Old Speedometer Mileage Reading Was 4946 And As Of 8/10/2019 New Speedometer Mileage Is 1608.I Believe That It Is The Original 4 Cylinder Engine. Recently Added A Snyder's 6:1 High Compression Head And Head Gasket. Current Compression Reading Are #1=80 Lbs., #2=72 Lbs., #3= 75 Lbs., #4= 72Lbs. (Will Include Old Stock Head With Car.) Replaced All Head Studs With Grade 8 Chrome Moly Studs. New Water Pump, Water Outlet, Intake And Exhaust Gaskets6 Volt Nu-rex 30 Amp Alternator (Will Include Original Generator And Cut- Out).Leakless Style Water Pump. Replaced Studs With Special Bolts To Accommodate Pump Change Without Removal Of Radiator.New Two Blade Fan.New Fan Belt And Radiator Hoses.Modern Points And Condenser In Distributor. Cooling System Recently Underwent A Vinegar Flush With 50/50 Mix Of Distilled Water And Antifreeze As Well As 2 12oz. Bottles Of Royal Purple Super Coolant Water Wetter. I Live In Arizona And Drive Daily Without Experiencing Overheating Problems When Driven As Stated In The Information Section. Has Manifold Cabin Heater And Cabin Door For Comfy Winter Cruises.New Shortened Pitman Arm For Easier Steering. Easy Steer Teflon Tie Rod Inserts.Front Brake Floaters Installed.Dual Hood Support Bracket So Both Sides Of Hood Can Be Opened At The Same Time. Recently Rebuild Zenith Carburetor With "renners" Tuned Jets.
