1933 Ford Tutor Custom.
This car was professionally built for performance, road handling, comfortable, reliability, and most of all safety, and achieves these objectives by the following: The 425 HP, 365 CI small block, 4 bolt main Chevrolet engine has been bored 50 over, balanced, aligned honed, blue printed and the decks have been planed to O tolerance, and includes a mild cam.. A B&M, Chevrolet, 700R4 transmission that has been tweak with 26 to provide excellent acceleration. The WILWOOD break system with 4 piston calipers; 11 inch vented disks front and rear, and a corvette duel-master cylinders stops this car on a dime. The low center of gravity provides excellent handling and a very comfortable ride that are provided by a Total Cost Involved rolling chases with stainless steel independent suspension in the front and CWI jaguar chromed rear with 350 9” ford gears in the rear, along with sway bars front and rear. The weight of this vehicle is 3200 LB equally distributed between front and rear, further enhancing the handling and comfort of the ride for this car. The entire exhaust system, the 15 gallon gas tank, the gas lines and the brake lines are all polished 360 stainless steel, and the 4 inch drive shaft is polished aluminum, which will never have to be replaced. The Body is a fiberglass exact copy (except for the modifications made) of a 1933 ford manufactured by Redneck Corporation. The wood dash and wood veneer around the windows are quilted–western maple. Bobby Griffin seats upholstered with leather and vinyl provide a very construable place to sit for long periods. The stereo system has 10 speakers and a 6 CD player. This car is very comfortable and reliable over long distances. There were 2,300 hours of fabrication time and 200 hours of machinist time spent building this car. This does not include time in the paint shop, upholstered shop or other manufacturer facilities. Pictures and comments on this car have been in Street Scene twice and Redneck Corporation used pictures of this car for advertisement. This car was selected to represent the state of Maryland at the NSRA national event by the Maryland state safety inspector for NSRA 2 years in a row. In Addition:
All mechanical fasteners are ARP or for the body they are stainless steel - All upholstered panels are fiberglass - this car has fog lights and backup lights - the fuse box is located under the glove compartment for easy access.
