1947 Nash 600S purchased about two years ago. The previous owner took meticulous care of the Nash. He purchased the Nash in 2007. We have some books and records from that date. He detailed the Nash with interesting pinstriping, players dice fixed on the radiator cap, dipstick cap and engine as well as the dashboard. It also includes white and red fuzzy dice. On the fire wall there are a number of decals from all the car shows he attended around the country. The Nash has a 172.6cid / 2.8L flathead straight six engine. This engine produces 82 horsepower at 3,800 rpm. The transmission is a manual three speed on the column. The exhaust system has a glass pack which sounds great. The Nash can reasonably make claim to being America’s first mass-produced unit-construction (“unibody”) car. The interior seat covers, head liner, and floor cover is in perfect shape. No tears or rips. The exterior is white and is offset with a red sun visor. The tires are large white walls and are in good condition. The hub caps are spinner type and highlighted with a red checkered pattern which shows off the chrome on the hub cap. We have installed a new clutch, new brakes and new battery. The previous owner had it switched from 6 volt to 12 volt system. When we take the Nash out we get a thumbs up and it is a real magnet for pictures when we park her. She is a fun car to drive and to show.
