1948 Dodge pickup made into roadster hot rod/rat rod. Chopped Lexan windshield, body narrowed 11",Continental tractor grill, custom hood. 13 gallon alum. gas tank . All NEW springs, shocks, kingpins, Panhard bars and stabilizer.New brakes and wheel cylinders. New steering column, wheel and u joint. New Cragar wheels, trim rings and Cooper tires. Comfortable Procar seats, all new instruments, large glove box and hidden storage in doors. Engine is a 1984 G.M.C. 292 cu. in. straight six. Bored to 301 cu. in. it has a .510 lift hyd. cam with a 500 cfm. Edelbrock quad. Split headers flow into polished stainless Thrush mufflers and tailpipes. Trans is 5 speed with 3:55 Mopar rear axle. Paint is flat enamel with hand pinstriping and lettering everywhere.Just added new aluminum rear box for dry, secure storage. Pick up car on the Blue Ridge Parkway mile #176 and enjoy a TRUE OLD SCHOOL hot rod.
