1948 FORD CUSTOM DELUXE CONVERTIBLE. Here is a neat old car. The car looks great and runs very nicely. It seems the car was restored sometime ago. I didn't think there were power tops in 1948, but this car has one and it seems original, and it works!!! The car operates as it should but I feel the tires need replacing. There are a few bumps in a few spots. The rear seat has a rip. The convertible top needs replacing too. People LOVE seeing this car. All the gauges seem to work. The transmission shifts good, the clutch is strong and the brakes stop the car. The car comes with a very nice trunk lid in the same factory color. The one on the car current has some rust damage on the lower lip.
