1949 Mercury Custom is presented in a Deep Onyx Black paint with Fender Skits that made the side profile one to remember. The Body has been Nosed up Front & Decked in the Rear, and lets not forget that front grill that made the Mercury lovers go crazy. The exterior paint and chrome is in pristine condition and a real eye catcher. The top of the doors are dressed with chrome drip rails and chrome door edge guards. The upgraded plush interior is a rich gray leather and cloth with a beautiful gray carpet to match. The dash is in outstanding condition and looks new. The gauges have all been reconditioned and operate & look great. This 1949 Mercury has an amazing power plant, the stock 1949 Mercury Block has been Bored 90 Over, Cammed, Stroked & Balanced. The motor also has goodies such as 24 Bolt Edlebrock Flathead Heads, the famous Tea Pot 2 BBL Carburetor, Dual Coolant Intakes, 3 Core Radiator, Electronic Fuel Pumps, Fenton Headers and its original traditional 6 volt ignition system. The transmission is the one and only “Three on the Tree” manual transmission. This car was completely restored to perfection and runs as strong as it looks.
