1950 Chrysler New Yorker Runs Great Fluid Drive Very Good OverallWhat can we say about this 1950 Chrysler New Yorker? She is a a really nice Black Car that is ready to go to the Ice Cream Shop or Drive it Every Day right now. The mechanicals, body, and interior are in great condition and all original, this is a survivor car that was well taken car of for a very long time. It is in very good condition overall. This New Yorker has the Hi/Low Four Speed Fluid Drive and it works well, it also has the 251 Spitfire Straight Eight that runs like a Swiss watch to the very good interior to the original patina paint in very good condition. Try to find a New Yorker in this condition, most of them are really rusty. This car is simply cool and you will make lots of new friends! Mechanically, what can we say. It starts, the fluid drive shifts and works, and off you go. Be careful though because you will stop traffic due to people wanting to see the car. It drives, it shifts, it stops, and gets great gas mileage. The interior is in good condition overall, the seats have some minor issues, and the headliner could us a replacement, but overall good suitable condition as a weekend cruiser. The seats feel good, the dash is in great shape, and overall you can get in and drive it to get dinner right now. The body is just as nice as the rest of the car. There are some minor paint bubbles here and there and one minor spot that will need some attention in the future, other than this there are no major problems.
