1951 Kaiser Special Runs Drives Nicely Body Interior VGood 6cyl ManualThe 1951 models introduced the basic structure as would remain until the end of Kaiser production in 1955. The shape was changed, less boxy with an increased area of glass — a sleek, modern-looking automobile, in Jack Mueller’s words. A padded dashboard was added to Deluxe, for protection in an accident. The old-pontoon shape was gone as well, as the bull-nosed frontal appearance. The Kaiser now had the highest-horsepower standard six-cylinder engine of any American car except Hudson, launched at the lowest prices ever offered for the car. This Kaiser Deluxe Sedan is essentially in very good overall condition, the paint shines nicely, the interior is good condition, the body is essentially rust free, the engine purrs, it shifts smoothly as if it had just been broken in, the brakes grab nicely, she is ready to win at the shows right now. The body is in great shape, the interior is nice, she runs and drives nicely. Take it to a show and win right now. The mechanicals of this car are very good, the dash is in excellent condition, and this car has been taken care of and improved its entire life. Don't forget, this car is 63 years old and still runs and drives, you can' t fake or duplicate the way this car feels when you drive it. It has the the Kaiser Super Six runs great. All of the major systems work well, it starts right up, idles nicely, the transmission shifts nicely, and you are off to the car show. The interior is in good condition, the seats feel good front and back but have a cover on them, the trim is in great condition, all of the glass is great except the drivers window. Overall the interior feels good and you can't help but smile a big grin driving her to get a gallon of milk! The body is in overall very good condition. We checked and took detailed pictures, not even a pinhole. She has a rust free body with good pans, outer rockers, frame, and cross members. The car is a solid runner with exceptional potential to be an excellent car with only minor work. Again, clearly maintained correctly and preserved lovingly. Overall the paint shines nicely, though it is not perfect, and you will win at shows now. She does have some minor nits and nats that come with time, this is not freshly painted, but it is in very good condition.
