This is an exceptional 1953 Ford Pickup! It is a 1953 Ford F100 body on a 2003 Ford Lightning chassis. The rear-end was moved ahead 10 inches and the rear frame rails were shortened. It has the original 2003 Ford Lightning 5.4L supercharged V8 engine with an overdrive transmission. It features a custom-made fuel tank that is under the bed, grill, radiator overflow tank, and front valence with driving lights. The headlights have been Frenched and also house the front blinkers. The tailgate was smoothed and a rear roll pan with sequential blinkers was installed. It has Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air air conditioning, and a rear-view mirror with the compass and outside temp. The interior is fully custom with bucket seats, console, sliding rear window, stereo, electric wipers, Flaming River steering post, Billet Specialties steering wheel, Lokar parking brake, Lokar accelerator pedal, Lokar brake pedal, Lincoln navigator shifter, and an overhead console with two map lights. The vent windows were removed, and one-piece power windows were installed. It has 18 and 20 inch Billet Specialties wheels with BFGoodrich G-Force tires. It has 3-inch wider rear fenders and the running boards to accommodate them. It was painted with PPG Torch Red basecoat and then clear coated with 4 coats of PPG clear. It has been sanded and buffed to a smooth flat finish. Over 3000 hours were spent on the restoration of this stunning truck.
