1953 Mercury Monterey Hardtop
Three speed flathead with overdrive. Complete engine overhaul now has 1,000 miles, new front end parts, transmission sent out for new bearings. A different rear end with 3.37 gears out of a 996 Ford Ranger was installed. The following new parts were also installed: drive shaft, tires, gas tank and sending unit, carburetor, fan, clutch, aluminum radiator, wiring harness, pressure plate, springs, shocks, windshield, electric windshield wipers, heater fan, aftermarket air conditioner, and new modern gauges (gauges converted to 12 volt.) Body overhaul included all new floor panels, seat upholstery and stuffing, carpet, insulation on firewall and floor. Dash removed and painted, has original clock, speedometer sent out and repaired. The car has also been painted.
