1956 Chevrolet Delray. This is a stock vehicle; it has the 'Power-Pac' 265 cubic inch engine with 4-barrel carburetor and dual exhaust. In addition, it is equipped with the three-speed manual transmission with Overdrive, as it originally came from the factory. The Matador Red and India Ivory two-tone color scheme is original to the car (as coded on the cowl tag) when the car was made in Janesville WI in August of 1956 (late in the Model Year). It is in very respectable condition including the paint and chrome with one excellent repaint many years ago. The car drives very well; necessary repairs have been made to the front steering and suspension, including ball joints and suspension arms. Brake and fuel lines have been replaced as well as the dual exhaust system, along with other necessary repairs. The Delray interior is original and is in exceptionally good condition. Other options include: padded dash, radio, clock, tinted glass all windows and backup lamps.
