1956 MG MGA Roadster. Beautiful 4 spd, 4cyl dual carb 1956 MGA roadster. These are terrific cars and may be the best, most affordable Classic Brits available today. An extremely fun car that is easily maintained with parts that are readily available and affordable in the marketplace today. Car is not perfect, but nothing that would prevent you from jumping in and firing it up and taking a nice, long drive on a sunny day with a special friend. But you will probably spend as much time talking to admirers as you do driving the car. Car has always been garaged, used only on sunny Summer/Fall days. Fold down top (black) is in excellent shape but rarely used. Brand new interior (color: honey tan) makes the car look newer than its 60 years. At some point, someone swapped out the original motor for an MGB 1800cc 5-main which, in my opinion, gives the car a lot more pep than it would have had otherwise. Other improvements I've made besides the interior are new front and rear suspension (leaf springs, shocks, rack and pinion, tie rod ends, U-joint assembly) and replacing the clutch and master cylinder. Also included are the side curtains (windows), full tonneau cover and some spare parts if you want them.
