1956 Oldsmobile 88 4dr sedan The hard work is already done now it’s time for you to enjoy this fine classic car. I bought this car newly restored 23 years ago and have only had minor updates to the body. The interior has been redone along with a new headliner. The paint and chrome is still very nice even after all these years although there are are a few visible blemishes. The color scheme of light pewter and black cherry are 1988 Chrysler Corp colors. The 324 V8 motor has just been recently rebuilt top/bottom and runs and drives like a dream. The machine work was done locally by Fulton Competition and torn down and reassembled by a retired certified GM mechanic. The car has been driven less than 1,000 miles on the rebuild. There are no power options. Windows freely roll up and down. It also brand new brakes and master cylinder. The transmission is solid. I have converted the engine to electronic ignition and to a spin on oil filter along with an updated radio. The odometer shows 49k miles but is not accurate due to its age. All exterior and exterior lights work perfectly. This car is is ready for cruise nights or long Sunday drives. It may not be perfect but it just might be perfect for you.
