1956 Packard Patrician Sedan The 1956 Packard is one of the most beautiful and elegant cars of the mid 1950s. It is also the very last year that these elegant cars would be manufactured/engineered by the Packard Plant in Michigan. This car is beautifully styled and very well engineered for its time. Everywhere you look there is something nice to look at...beautiful colors, trim, lines, hood ornament - it's quite a work a art! It can also handle today's modern roads and speeds, thanks to the power of the 374ci V8 engine and the Ultra-Matic Transmission, which was the most modern automatic transmission of its day. This Packard was owned by a fellow enthusiast for many years before my parents acquired it. It is a very nice lower mileage original survivor type that has not been totally restored. It was serviced, repaired as needed, at some point re-painted, kept indoors, and lovingly cared for. This car will be a treasure for your family to own for years to come and a great long term investment too. Only 3,375 of these were ever made! Very rare car to see around today.
