Here is a beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible in Artic Blue with Beige interior and Auxilary hard top. Matching numbers 283 with dual 4 barrel carburetors. 4 speed manual transmission with the original 3 speed included. 15'' Diamondback Auburn radials.1957 was a historic one for the Corvette. The Corvette cemented itself as a serious sports car with a solid showing at the Daytona Beach Trials and a historic run at the 12 Hours of Sebring, in which John Fitch and Walt Hansgen achieved Corvette's first class win in international competition. The new 283 V-8 produced by Chevrolet for the 1956 model year was a big improvement from the previous incarnation. Development of the car included a smaller and lighter body, new suspension, and a now standard V-8 with an increase of 30 HP culminating in a more powerful and nimble package. When the 283 V-8 is mated to the optional 4-speed manual transmission option this 1957 Corvette will show you performance you might not have expected.
