1959 Ford Fairlane 500 2 door Hard Top No Post To Start I Found this car Parked in a Garage on Blocks. The car Belonged to a elderly couple that loved the car but were to old to drive it. Been There for 35 years. Original the Chrome and Stainless was all in near Perfect cond. The interior was like nobody ever sat in the car The original color combination was Torch Red and Colonial White . The Paint was faded and Cracked from age but the body was in almost perfect cond. An Arizona car with no Rust. I had The car repainted using the original paint codes Torch Red and Colonial White. The Motor ordered with this car was the largest available which was the 352 cu. in. 300 H.P. Thunderbird Interceptor Ford Raced these cars at Datona in 58 and 59 and did quite well they had a top speed of 130 M.P H. I had the Motor Overhauled using New Pistons all new parts new water pump new oil pump new carb new starter Engine Line in Palmdale did a very nice job on the motor it is quiet as a church mouse. I also did some upgrades they installed Power disk brakes they perform much better than the old drum brakes used back than. also installed Mallory Electronic Ignition used by todays cars for a more reliable running motor. They installed a Electronic Choke for a better starting motor. We then installed New Suspension, Ball Joints new rubber bushings new upper and lower tie end rods, Installed 4 New Gas Monroe Shocks for a like New Smooth Ride.We then Overhauled the Transmission. We then did new dual exhaust from front to back using Glasspacks for very nice sound. The Interior was so Pristine cleaning was only needed it is all original Headliner, Door panels, Seats were covered in plastic like nobody sat on them.Doors: 2
