1959 Volkswagen Beetle with Sunroof and all matching numbers. I bought this car from the original owner more than 35 years ago and it has been stored indoors for all this time. I have the extensive full file on this car dating back to the day it was new in 1959 including original VW Sales Order, every VW Service order including warranty repairs, etc.  This is an all original paint, black car with red interior, never, wrecked, repainted or messed with. The floor pans are all original and flawless, not even a pinhole of rust, even around the battery area! Reasons for this is that it was never stored with a battery installed and when the car was used regularly, the former owner placed a special acid absorbing mat between the battery and the pan which absorbed and neutralized and acid. I continued the tradition as well which has made all the difference. The only rust on the car is as pictured in 2 spots, one of which is on the deck lid and the other on the lower left rear window lip, both very easy fixes.  The original owner stopped driving in 1972 because of his age and I acquired in 1979 it as a running and driving car, with original 36hp engine with matching numbers. Many years ago, I took the car apart with plans of completing a body off, nut and bolt restoration but never got around to completing it. So far, I have completely rebuilt the original, numbers matching engine with all correct NOS VW Parts, Front Beam / Suspension has been completely rebuilt. NOS Heat Exchangers and Muffler has been Jet Hot Coated in the correct color and installed. The car needs to be painted, finish the interior and reassemble. Call for more info.Doors: 2
