1962 FORD GALAXIE 500 SUNLINER CONVERTIBLE 406 C . I .WITH 3 DUCES AND 405 H .P . FACTORY T-10 BORG/WARNER 4 SPEED CAST IRON TRANSMISSION with factory shift handle and knob. Power top , Floors and trunk pan don't have any rust. This car was bought in 1962 as a 390 CI 4 speed because the owner wanted a 406 and it would've taken to long to order one. So he decided to have the dealer take out the 390 and put in a new 406. Back then no one ever heard of Clones, Tributes or whatever else ya call them. He just wanted a 406. This car was built for him, not to try and fool anyone. Every thing in this car works and works as it should. Back up lights, brake lights, signal lights, emergency brake, interior lights and dashboard lights all gauges, speedometer, lighter, even the tube radio. this car doesn't have any leaks or drips no smoke clutch doesn't slip or chatter. Engine runs smooth all you hear is the solid lifters and the rumble of the exhaust. The electric choke works. Windows roll up and easy no cracks or discolor, Doors close easy and solid no hanging or misalignment. Interior is original. It doesn't have any rips or splits in the seats door panels.
