1962 Pontiac Grand Prix. This car is powered by the legendary 389 Tri Power and Roto Hydromatic 3-speed transmission. After being parked in a climate controlled warehouse, sitting more than 20 years a thorough mechanical going through was done. This car was completely restored many years ago. The 8-lug power drum brake system was completely overhauled with a rebuild of the original brake booster and master cylinder, new soft lines, wheel cylinders and resurfaced friction materials. Wheel and axle bearings were replaced and resealed. The rear end and driveshaft was serviced. Rubber bushings and ball joints addressed. The transmission was drained and a new pan gasket installed. Fuel lines had been disconnected, replaced gas tank, water pump, thermostat, hoses, belts and filters. The carbs were serviced and a new cap, rotor, wires and plugs were installed. Power steering fluid flushed and the oil changed. Hankook radials have been fitted to the iconic eight lug wheels. Proud to say runs out excellent, steers and stops straight. Accelerates and kicks down with authority. Handles surprisingly well considering it's 3850 pound mass.
