A new addition from Bob's buying trip to Florida is this awesome 1964 El Camino. It is not your father's '64 El Camino. It has had a complete frame off restoration and is powered by a rebuilt 396 cubic inch 375 horse power Chevy big block. Transferring all that power to the rear wheels is a 700 R4 automatic transmission with Lokar shifter and a 9" Ford rear end with 3.73 gears. As if all that wasn't enough there are additional goodies that really put the frosting on the cake...Holly 750 double pumper carb...Edlebrock AirGap intake... high volume fuel pump...Mallory HEI distributor steel braided fuel lines and heater hoses...aluminum high volume water pump and then because everyone needs a little bling under their hood the pulleys and brackets are highly polished as well as the big block valve covers. Chrome alternator coolant and power steering reservoirs brake booster and oil pan all add to the custom appearance under the hood. The front disc brakes are all new as are the 11" rear drum brakes. Same with the axles and backing plates...all new. New coil springs and shocks...all new. New spindles and linkage...New tie rod ends and ball joints. There is a new Flaming River power rack and pinion steering with a wood tilt wheel. There is a carpeted rear bed with tonneau cover new red leatherette bucket seats new weather stripping seals and rubbers. All new glass. Factory style FM radio with USB. New speakers and rear mounted CD changer. Factory in dash tachometer. Giving the whole package the sound of a true muscle car is Street Pro exhaust with 2 1/2" pipes SS mufflers and Flowmaster tips.If you think the word NEW repeated itself many times in this description you're right it did.
