1964 Chevrolet Impala is a very attractive example of one of Chevrolet’s most iconic full-size models, presented with an emphasis on correctness, condition, and drivability. Believed to retain its original 327 V8 engine and equipped with a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission, this Impala offers smooth, effortless cruising exactly as these cars were intended to deliver and it sounds great doing it. The car was recently repainted at a cost of approximately $15,000 in its correct factory color, Paint Code 936 Ermine White. The result is a high-quality finish that shows very well, with excellent gloss and clean panel presentation. This is not a quick respray, but a thoughtfully executed paint job that significantly enhances the car’s overall appearance. The interior has also been refreshed and is finished in its correct Trim Code 811 black cloth, paired with the original-style bench seat. The trunk area is clean and well-detailed, and the headliner is in very nice condition. Rolling on correct-style whitewall tires with proper 1964 Impala hubcaps, the car retains a true factory-correct appearance that is becoming increasingly difficult to find. The car is also equipped with front and rear bumper guards, adding to its original look and presence. Additional features include power steering and power brakes, making this Impala comfortable and easy to drive. This 1964 Impala runs and drives great, sounds great, and represents a strong example of a desirable year and body style.
