1964 Ford Fairlane 500 2 door hardtop. I have had this car for about five years, after looking extensively for a 2-door Fairlane! I found it, and was amazed at its originality, it had been completely unaltered and was 100% original! The reason I bought it was the fact that it is virtually rust-free, the frame and undercarriage are amazing! Everything on the car is numbers matching, I have the original air conditioner, and generator for it. They're not on the car currently, but come with the sale. It has a 289 V8, has the Cruise o matic automatic transmission. I did add dual exhaust with Flowmasters, sounds amazing! It has brand new interior including carpet, front and back seats, dashboard, and headliner. This car is almost completed, only missing the speaker in the dash, and the windshield pump+new bag. The patina on this car was so cool I decided not to repaint it, and only to clear coat it. The Body Shop I had to do it used high quality Nason semi gloss clear coat finish, ( 2 coats)sanding between coats. The wheels were also painted red to match the Pinstripe going through the Chrome centerpiece , looks sweet! I scratched it in a few places, when I loaded it on the trailer, they're easy fixes I just haven't had time to do it. I just decided to put it up for sale as is. With not much work it would be finished, and ready for car shows. The car runs and drives great. Has power steering and power brakes as well. Trunk as original trunk mat, in great condition, with spare,jack, and lug wrench. ALOT of work has gone into this car!! I am asking $21,700.00, or best offer. Can deliver within a hundred miles. There is very little slack in the windshield wipers, and the odometer does not look like that it has rolled over. Very fun to drive.
