1964 Volkswagen Bus 13 Window Deluxe, All original factory metal This is truly a special bus. It has never had any rust or metal replaced. I am the 2nd owner and bought it in 1995. It was original shipped to San Francisco and spent most its life in the dry valley, hence no rust. The restoration was finished a few years ago, and I have put about 3000 miles on it since then working out the kinks. Now it is pretty dialed in and ready for a new owner. This bus has been garage kept for the last 25+ years and hasn't seen water in at least the same amount of time. Really, I should not have restored it because it was in great condition to start with, but when I started it originals weren't in such demand as today. - Dupont Chroma base/clearcoat done in Sealing Wax Red / Beige Grey. Super straight bodywork. - Inside and outside of bus were media blasted and painted including the engine compartment. - All new rubber. - New stock wiring by Wireworks. - ISP West Safari's. - West Coast Classics interior by Lenny Copp. - All seats including short middle with the middle and rear kick panels. - All original re-chromed or polished metal, no repop (i.e. body molding, bumper molding, door handles, jail bars, rear seat luggage bar, etc.). - All original Sekurit glass minus fronts. - Professionally lowered with a straight axel bug tranny and Type 3 rear brakes. - Front stock beam with flipped spindles. (3.5' lower than stock) - Radio is a period correct Blaupunkt that I bought in England restored that has an aux cord in the back to run your phone - 4 speakers in a retro suitcase in the back, and a hidden amp under the back seat with a powered sub that is hidden behind the front seat in the spare tire.
