1965 Checker Marathon Yellow Checker Taxi Cab This is a 99% rust free original California 65 Checker Marathon with the original 327 Chevy V/8 engine with a 4-bbl carburetor, automatic transmission and factory power steering. (most checkers were 6 cylinder cars with a manual transmissions) The car has a Checker radio and heater and has a lighted roof mounted taxi sign, and it works great too.Power steering was a very rare option in 1965. With a v/8, P/S and Auto transmission it makes this Checker super easy to drive and park in today's world. 1965 Checkers are hard cars to find in this condition.
