You are looking at a really nice example of a muscle car history. The last year of the Chrysler 300 Letter Series cars, the Chrysler 300L. This is one of only 2405 made. A very nice example of originality with excellent bones throughout. The exterior color, Sable Tan (color code YY1) is original to the car as is the Dark Red interior. The paint has been redone while the interior is original with the exception of the carpet which is new. Seats appear to be much too nice to be 100% original but we are just not sure. They are in like new condition. The paint shines beautifully but does have some blemishes. Chrome bumpers are in excellent condition. Trim is in great condition as well. The one year only pinstriped headlight glass is as good as it gets. The famed 300L logo on the front grill lights up as it should. The interior is beautifully designed and in great shape for its age. It appears to be all original except for the carpets and possibly the seating as mentioned above. The leather seats are absolutely beautiful and may have been refinished at some point. The dash is in great shape but appears a bit tired in some areas. A refresh would bring it to the next level There are NO cracks on the dash pad at all. Door cards are original but could use a refresh as well. There is a slight look of age in some areas of the interior but there are no broken or missing pieces to any part of the interior. All issues mentioned are minor and can be left as is. Nothing is needed unless you choose to upgrade. All gauges, interior lighting and functions work as the should including the center console vacuum gauge. The Cooper Cobra GT radials are 90%, power brakes are strong and custom wheels give the car the sporty look it deserves. The engine is super strong and very quick. It starts instantly, runs perfectly and is impressive off the line. This engine and drive train is incredible in every respect. I have no details on a rebuild in the past but Id bet it had one at some point. Compression is perfect on all cylinders. She idles smoothly and response is instant.
