1966 Batmobile replica is by far one of the nicest in the country and by far the nicest that is currently for sale. Based on a 1976 Lincoln, the car has gone through a complete restoration with all components being new or rebuilt. Before the body was placed on the frame, the entire was cleaned. I had the car professional lined with steel, custom body mounts, doors hinged etc. The car was completed about 1 month ago and this is the first time and only place it has been offered for sale. The paint is perfect and has 6 coats of clear, all body panels line up with no issues and the hood and trunk close tight. The doors open with electric poppers inside the car as well as the exterior door handles. The hood and trunk are both powered by electric actuators that will lift and raise them with a flick of the switch. All lights and beacon are fully functional on the outside as well as the inside. The red stripes are painted on and not vinyl stickers like most of these replicas. Inside, the seats are from a '67 thunderbird and are finished in black vinyl with red piping. The interior looks outstanding and was done by one of the best upholstery guys in the area. The center console is lined with switches, buttons, knobs and every bat thing you could think of. Most switches are functional and control the lights, actuators, Batbeam, bat computers and even a fog machine that blows fog out the rear turbine. Other options inside include working roll-top dash, custom Bat steering wheel, push-button shifter, In-dash TV, DVD player so you can watch the batman series dvd's which are included, Navigation, Backup camera, working Batbeam, Bat beacon, Bat phone (non-working), Detect-A-Scope and even a Crime computer that lights up in the trunk. Under the hood is a low mileage Ford 460 CID engine with new exhaust. The automatic transmission was completely rebuilt and features a PCS push button shifter. With a turn of the key, the car starts with no problems and goes down the road very smooth.Doors: 2
