1966 Chevrolet El Camino. Clean/clear CA title in my name, registered just paid til December 2023. 56,411 miles on the odometer. Engine rebuilt about 4 years ago. Strong running 66 corvette 327 with around 2,900 miles, 194 camel hump heads, healthy .440 lift summit racing cam, decked block, stock intake, quadrajet, headers, very short exhaust with mufflers. Engine was pulled about 6 months ago just to reseal/replace gaskets, currently no oil leaks. Saginaw 4 speed trans, hurst stick, shifter and handle, original power steering car, the only rust or rot (besides surface rust)is on the driver and passenger side roof, right above drip/roof rail and some small spots around windshield(see photos). That area does need some attention. The front passenger side fender, rear driver side quarter and tail gate have been skim coated with bondo many years ago and are starting to show signs of cracking in certain areas when you look at it up close, but the paint is still presentable for the most part. The car looks better in person than when these photos were takes. Solid floors, solid bed, the sheet/strip of sheet metal under the rear glass is solid which is pretty uncommon now for these cars. This car spent a lot of time in Central California (Bakersfield). New master cylinder, new A frame bushings, new starter, new battery and new alternator, new exterior door mirror, newer belts/hoses, radiator cap, spark plugs, oil/oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, new fuel filler neck hose, 10 bolt posi rear end with low gears, pulls well. If I had to guess somewhere between 3.70-4.56 gear ratio. Recent interior work done. Started to perform interior restoration. Sanded down all sheet metal inside including dash, fresh primer and paint inside. Rebuilt gauge cluster, new premium black dash pad, new radio face plate/bezel, new heater face plate (heater does work), but could use new heater controls, new glove box lock and liner, new oil, temp, volt gauges, new headlight switch.Body Style: CoupeDoors: 2Fuel Type: GasDrive Type: RWD
