1966 Chevrolet Nova is a professionally built Pro Touring Restomod that blends old-school muscle with modern performance and handling. From its LS1 powerplant to its Detroit Speed suspension upgrades, every inch of this car has been thoughtfully engineered for performance, comfort, and reliability. Under the hood sits a 5.7L LS1 all-aluminum V8, featuring an Eagle crank, Eagle H-beam rods, J&E pistons, Texas Speed 243 heads, and a Texas Speed performance camshaft. Airflow is handled through a Victor Jr. intake manifold and FAST throttle body, while cooling is managed by an Entropy aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Power is sent through a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch, back to a GM 12-bolt posi-traction rear end featuring 3.73 gears, Moser posi unit, and Moser axles — a rock-solid drivetrain combination that performs as good as it sounds. Braking and suspension are equally impressive. This Nova features disc brakes front and rear, hydroboost assist, Heidts subframe, tubular upper and lower A-arms, power rack and pinion steering, 2-inch drop spindles, and a Tri-4 link rear suspension with coilover shocks. The car is mini-tubbed by Detroit Speed and fitted with frame connectors for added rigidity. It rides on Corvette wheels wrapped in 275/40/17 front and massive 315/30/18 rear tires, giving it a commanding stance and exceptional grip. Inside, the cabin has been modernized with front seats from a 2005 Pontiac GTO, a custom center console, three-point ratchet seat belts, and a custom dash with Autometer white-faced gauges. Classic Auto Air conditioning blows cold, making this car just as comfortable as it is powerful. Finishing touches include billet aluminum hood and decklid hinges, a new windshield, and a 1 1/8 rear sway bar. This Nova is a turn-key, high-quality build that runs, drives, and stops with confidence.
