1967 Chrysler Imperial Crown Coupe For Sale43,000 Original MilesStunning Condition Persian White (WW1) with Red Leather Interior 440ci 4bbl 350hp These Big Imperials were making waves in the mid to late 60s with these cars. With more luxury and standard features than any Cadillac or Lincoln, they also commanded a higher price tag. A Crown Coupe like this one was more expensive than a Cadillac convertible in '67. They were also longer and more stylish. Just look at the body lines of this Imperial. This Imperial 2 door Crown Coupe is in Stunning condition. Sold new in California were it spent most of its life, was sold to its second owner in West Texas in 2010. You just dont see these cars in this condition. A restoration on a car like this would break the bank. Luckily, this Imperial doesn't need a thing. Paint, chrome and trim are immaculate. A repaint was done to perfection a number of years ago in its original color of Persian White on all original pin straight sheet metal. This was not a quick inexpensive repaint. This paint is beautifully done. There are no bubbles and certainly no rust. The partial vinyl top is original and like new. The interior seating is all new and NOS correct while the real wood dash and gauges are absolutely beautiful and all original. The option list is off the charts on most Imperials. This one is no exception and, they all work. Features and options include power windows including power vent windows that all work as they should. Window locks work as well. Ice cold Air Conditioning, power door locks, AM-FM 4 speaker stereo with balance & fader, power antenna and Chryslers famous left foot operated channel changer button. Need more? Tilt & telescopic steering wheel, trunk lid release, front & rear armrests, left & right remote outside mirrors and... the automatic retractable passenger seat option that moves the front passenger seat forward so that rear passengers can easily exit. Of course it has power disc brakes and power steering as well. The original and standard engine on the Imperial was the famous 440ci 4bbl engine pushing 350hp with Chryslers bullet proof automatic transmission and Sure Grip differential. This 43000 mile car starts, runs and drives smoothly, quietly and can easily keep up with todays traffic and long cruises are a no problem at all. There are no fluid leaks of any kind. The tires and wheels on the car today are the only non-original items on the car. The originals were replaced with a set of great riding 17? tires on Billet Sport Specialty rims. The undercarriage is as clean as it gets without a complete undercoating. There is no rust and nothing to hide. A few other interesting details.... This car was featured on the cover of Hot-Rod magazine in May of 2010 with the title, "This car may look like Mr. Drysdale's car, but it has a Jethro-sized motor under the hood!" Both sets of original keys, the original owners manual in its original leather casing is still with the car. Even better, the original Certicard is still inside the engine bay where the factory put it.
